Who pays the platform fee?
The freelancer. A flat 5% commission is deducted from the amount released to them. Nothing is added to the client’s invoice — the client pays the agreed project amount.
Do freelancers pay anything to use Growlanzo?
No. Creating a profile, building 3-tier packages, applying to projects, and getting paid carries one flat 5% commission — and includes 5 free AI-written titles, descriptions and cover messages every day. The optional Premium plan (₹199/month, flat) raises AI writing to 100 generations per day and removes the monthly cap on AI assistant messages. It is not a commission, never touches your earnings, and never affects your ranking, visibility or matching.
How does pricing work for Team Projects (multiple freelancers)?
In a Team Project, every freelancer has their own independent contract — with their own escrow, milestones and dispute. The flat 5% commission applies per contract (deducted from each freelancer’s payout, same as a single hire). There is no separate "team fee" — and one member's dispute or cancellation never affects the other contracts in the project.
What does the 5% fee include?
Escrow protection, secure payments (Razorpay & PayPal), AI-powered matching, milestone management, dispute resolution, and customer support. The fee is only charged when a payment succeeds — posting, inviting, and browsing are free. There is no listing fee and no hidden charge anywhere.
Is the Premium plan worth it for me?
Premium is optional and purely about extra AI capacity: AI writing up to 100 generations per day, no monthly cap on AI assistant messages, and a Premium badge. It does not boost your ranking or visibility — matches are merit-based for everyone. Cancel anytime, no lock-in.
What is the 2% payout processing fee?
When a freelancer withdraws wallet funds, the payment processor (Razorpay/PayPal) charges a 2% transfer fee. This is the processor's actual cost, passed through at cost — it is not Growlanzo revenue and is shown separately from the 5% commission. Withdrawal limits and the exact fee are always displayed before you confirm.
Is AI free for clients?
Yes — clients get AI features free for lifetime: AI freelancer matching and the AI assistant. A fair-use daily cap (100 requests/day) simply protects against bots and abuse; it resets every day and never asks you to upgrade.
